RATES (The nightly rate displayed on top of page is the average price based on a 7 nights stay)
My wife and I stayed in this apartment in October 4-11, 2012. This is the best location in Paris: a very quite square with no thru traffic in the very heart of the city close to any tourist attraction. You can walk practically to any museum or monument. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is not luxurious but it has everything you need for your temporary stay. The only drawback is that the house has no elevator and the apartment located on the 4t floor (3d european).
The owner, Mr Xavier Delapierre, is a very nice person who always ready to help and resolve any problems that may arise. We enjoyed very much our stay and we definitely would stay their again in the future.

It was our first trip to Paris and we really got lucky to find this wonderful apartment at 17 rue Daupine! The location was perfect. Close to the subway and walking distance to the heart of Paris, Louvren, Notre Dame, St Germain etc. We were three- my husband and I and our 11 year old son and the space was enough for us. Don't hesitate to rent this place! - Maria We stayed in this marvelous small flat on Place Dauphine in March 2011. As in the previous comments, Giancarlo could not have been more helpful or kind. The location is superb and we felt as if, for a short time, this was our Paris apartment. We would not hesitate to rent again from Giancarlo. Peggy and Chris, Maine Hello, I so often think of the 6 wonderful days we had the privilege of staying in your apartment, it wasn't just a bed, it was so much more..it was you making the booking from the other side of world when I hadn't traveled back to Paris since 1984... and in Yey, in May 2010 I was there I was with my two best girlfriends....I am sending all your details to a friend at work so am back on your website...I loved everything about your apartment...how you explained the history and that the apartment used to be the servants quarters... those stairs were fab and I have such a great arial shot photo....we had a list of questions and you were very patient and helpful to us coming after a long and busy day at work but you liked us because we were 3 Australian Nurses who were about to have a very special time.. oh yes, then it was you months later who sent the receipt in English, then resent it again when it wasn't enough silly detail because we are still a slow down here, it is too far from Paris...I must return ASAP Hope all is well with you... Thank you, thank you, thank you Giancarlo! It took us months to find the perfect apartment in Paris and we were so happy with how things worked out. The apt was simple yet well-equipped and in the greatest location possible. A beautiful, quiet neighborhood amidst the sights every visitor wants to see. We walked everywhere and enjoyed a romantic stroll over a bridge every night to return to the island apt. Valentine's night I proposed to my girlfriend on Pont Neuf and it could not have been a more perfect scene!! Giancarlo, you were a pleasure to deal with and we are grateful for your hospitality. My husband and myself have made may visits to Paris, we have also stayed in a few holiday lets there. We last visited Paris at New Year 2009-2010. We had a wonderful time and had a perfect stay at Giancarlos apartment at Place Dauphine. We found the apartment a perfect place for site seeing around Paris as it was easy walking to get to the Louvre, Notre Dame and other places of interest.
What a special time we had and what a wonderful place to be for New Year. Giancarlo was so friendly and helpful it made our stay at his apartment the perfect New Year holiday. The apartment had everything in it that we needed and to us was in a very special place. We would definetely have our next Paris holiday in this apartment, we would not stay anywhere else in Paris after finding this lovely apartment, and looking forward to meeting Giancarlo again.
Many thanks.
Best regards

We felt like Parisians for the five wonderful nights we stayed in this apartment. It is quiet, clean and, best of all, has a location that can't be topped. It is near Sainte Chappelle, Notre Dame, metro stops, the flower market and, of course, the Seine. It's a fifteen-minute walk to the Louvre and Place St. Michel, ten minutes to a fabulous neighborhood filled with trendy eateries and boutiques and five minutes to the Pont Neuf and boat tours.
Though we didn't try them, there are about four or five great-looking restaurants surrounding the park below the apartment as well. (Next time!) After busy days of touring, we were grateful to return to our home away from home and relax, check our email (easy access to the internet), call home (free) and sip a bit of the wine that the owner, Giancarlo, had brought as a welcome gift.
We and our 14-year-old granddaughter spent our first afternoon exploring the island and finding our way to Ile de St. Louis for ice cream at Berthillon's.
This is the best deal in Paris. Go for it!
My girlfriend and I brought her younger sister to Paris for her first trip out of the US. We stayed here for 6 nights in March and loved every minute of the apartment. Great services, great owner. On the island where the first settlers of Paris lived, less than 5 minutes from Notre Dame and the Louvre. Two different subway stops within 5 minutes as well. You can see the top of San Chapell from the apartment. There is also a great little local shopping area just on the south side of the Seine from the apartment with several grocery stores and many great restaurants.
This was better than any hotel we could have hoped for!
My husband and I just had one of the most amazing weekends in Paris. And we owe so much of it to the incredible, charming studio apartment at Place Dauphine!! Giancarlo was extremely receptive and accomodating to our last minute need for a romantic getaway. Our last stay in Paris was in a shoebox of a hotel room on a noisy street in an overpriced hotel. But Place Dauphine was an absolute dream to stay in with an exposed wooden beam ceiling, kitchen, comfortable bed, internet access, and floor to ceiling doors that open up to a stunning view of the quiet, tree-lined park below. The apartment was clean, light, and had a refreshing scent every time we walked through the door.
We love to walk in Paris, and this apartment couldn't be more central to everything!! You can't help but be in awe that you're staying just around the corner from Saint Chapelle, the Conciergerie, and Notre Dame. The chance to stay in such a unique and truly Parisian apartment tops any 5-star hotel room. I stayed at this flat for 2 1/2 weeks last summer and it was the best experience I have ever had in Paris (been there 9 times). The landlord keeps the flat clean and attractive. It is walking distance to everywhere in Paris including metros and public buses. I was able to cook a meal for 4 in the small yet well equipped kitchen when friends visited. I've just rented it again for this next summer for a few weeks. Your crazy to stay in a hotel for $200 a night when this flat is bigger and better for much less money. You will experience the real Paris. Make sure you eat downstairs at the restaurant and the wine bar Henri IV.
