We stayed in this appartment in Rue Lepic last April (sorry, it took us really long to write something :)) It was so lovely!! Living in this appartment we could really feel the odour of Paris, we could feel Paris itself! To tell the truth Montmartre is a wonderful place to live.
During our stay we used the Metropolitain only a couple of times, mostly we just walked and walked and walked along the streets, and to visit most of the interesting places it'll take you not more that 20 minutes walking from Rue Lepic! It was a wonderful week Thank you!
Your russian guests Olya and Alex.
I spent three nights in August at this delightful apartment in rue Lepic. I had searched for accommodation in Paris on the internet, and right from the beginning was impressed with both the comments from other people, and with the photos. I felt that it was just what I was looking for - and I was not disappointed! Despite my rather late arrival, due to a flight delay, Bruno was patiently waiting to welcome me. The bottle of wine was much appreciated - especially after my very long and tiring day. I loved the location, the narrow streets, the cafes and shops, and just the whole ambience was great. The appartment was perfect, and already I am thinking of a return visit - but not sure when this will be.....
Many thanks Bruno and Beatrice.

My husband and I spent 7 nights in this lovely flat located in Rue Lepic. The apartment is cosy, intimate and there is enough room to move around. Mr. Brunot was an extremely helpful (with lots of information about the whereabouts, the nearest travel agent's, cheap supermarkets, etc) and thoughtful host that made us really feel that we were in the city of romance. (there were even candles in the wardrobe). The narrow streets and traditional shops (bakeries, grocer's, shop flowers, etc.) remind us of the old, romantic city that Paris has always been and will be forever. Moreover, for those who enjoyed the film Amelie (which has been partly shot AU CAFE DES DEUX MOULINS, located on Rue Lepic), this is definitely the place to stay!
We highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a low-budget but genuinely romantic trip to Paris.

We spent 5 nights at 38 rue Lepic in May this year. It is exactly as the website portrays it - small but very comfortable and well-appointed. Plenty of room for 2 people! Rue Lepic and the surrounding shopping area was terrific - lovely bakeries, cheese shops, small fruit/veg shops and groceries which sold excellent salad ingredients and take-out deli food. Lovely places to have croissants and coffee and the fabulous cafe Zebra below.
The apartment itself is on the 3rd floor (up well-trodden wooden stairs) and is very quiet as it overlooks an internal courtyard. Abbesses metro (5 mins walk) is a wonderful art deco station and there is a helpful Internet place near there.
Blanche metro and the large Monoprix are 5 minutes walk the other way. Bruno and Beatrice were very helpful hosts before we arrived and it was lovely to meet them both during our stay. Montmartre is a very interesting arrondisement in which to stay- great buskers and interesting pedestrians. We loved it and highly recommend Rue Lepic.

Hello,
My friend and I have stayed at this lovely apartment 2 times and have enjoyed it very much. It was clean, nice and in the perfect location.
We will definitely use it it for future visits!
Our stay at 38 Rue Lepic was a delight -- and an opportunity to enjoy a truly Parisian experience. We couldn't have asked for a better location to begin each day. The apartment is only 2-3 blocks from the metro and everything you might need is within easy walking distance. We look forward to returning some day. Eric, Debbie, and Carissa
We had a fantastic time in Paris staying at this perfect apartment. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel. The location is ideal. There are so many wonderful shops in Rue Lepic and it is very close to two metro stations. It's so easy to get everywhere in Paris.
Bruno and Beatrice were very friendly and accommodating. I would strongly recommend this apartment to anyone having a break in Paris.

Just wanted to say that our experience with the apartment was great. Its in a good location, close to two metro stations, clean and conveniently, has a washing machine. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Paris.
This apartment is very highly recommended my husband and i. This was our first visit to Paris (without our 2 children! grandparents in england looked after them)... which made our visit even more enjoyable. Bruno and Beatrice are extremly helpful. The apartment was just perfect for our 4 day short stay in beautiful paris. Just steps away from 2 metro stations, 3 streets up from Moulin Rouge (perfect if you are doing the 11pm show), great bar down the road, bakeries, fruit shops, etc. The apartment is 56 stairs up, so please don't bring huge suitcases!
Paris is now my favourite place in the world....... so enjoyable, heaps of walking- so bring comfortable walking shoes! We look forward to one day returning to Paris. We will highly recommend Rue Lepic to everyone we know who's going from Australia to Paris!
Thank you so much Bruno and Beatrice for sharing your lovely cute apartment! :)
warmest regards

Wonderful location! Clean, lovely and safe/secure apartment. (I am a single traveler). Bright and sunny. I loved staying there.
Quite comfortable, easy to get to and from the Metro and other areas. It felt like a little home to me. Bruno and Beatrice were very kind, polite and accommodating even after I screwed up my arrival times and inconvenienced them.
I will stay here again and recommend this apartment to my traveler friends!

Hello, I and two friend stayed in this apartment in February 2008. The price was very good and the location is excellent. I had been to Paris twice before this trip, but hands down this was the best trip because it was decided not to stay in a hotel. What a difference shopping for your food, and preparing it in the cozy kitchen, and really seeing how a Parisian lives. Highly recommended rental, the owner was very nice and easy to get along with, there was a selection of Paris travel books in the apartment which was really good, and there is EVERYTHING just outside the door. Wonderful! Eli Hale, Marcio Noia and Marcia Noia
I too would like recommend the Rue Lepic studio apartment. It was clean and had everything I needed, situated right in the middle of a lively community. And I cannot say enough about the friendly and responsive landlords, who were ready to help and answer any questions along the way. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again next time I'm in Paris. Thank you Bruno and Beatrice! --LD from Canada
Just wanted to thank you both for your wonderful place and your help with how to get where we needed to go. Your assistance with the times and metros and the possibility of the Metro strike. We would have been lost with you! Also a note to anyone planning to stay. I based our accomodations largely by testimonials of others and I am so happy we stayed here and even happier to pass along the highest recommendation. Bruno and Beatrice have not only a wonderful place, just as described, pictures and all, but they were completely accomodating. Our next trip to Paris, we fully plan to stay here again! Thank you so much - Roshan and Janet - Seattle WA
This inexpensive and modest apartment is conveniently located in the bustling section of Montmartre, so that in minutes you can access a number of cafes and restaurants, small fruit stands, boulangeries, and 2 Metro stations (Abessess and Blanche). Although it is located on the busy rue Lepic, it faces away from the street, so it is fairly quiet. It is inside a quaint 19 century building featuring original rough hewn wood beams, though it has plenty of modern amenities, such as a small kitchen and washer/dryer.

This is the perfect paris apartment! My wife and I stayed here for a week in April and we felt like we had a little home away from home. Bakery downstairs, Market nearby, Metro within 5 minutes, comfortable bed. Wow! All of our friends are jealous and want to stay here after talking to us. Bruno was helpful from the start, meeting us when we arrived and giving us ideas and suggestions. N & N from Texas We found this place to be perfect for 2 people. It had virtually everything we needed to live a cozy parisienne life and is in a great location at the top of the rue Lepic Market. The fresh croissants et pain au chocolats at the patisserie at the bottom of the stairs was also a real plus! I was very surprised of how good the water pressure in the shower was (often those old apartments have poor water pressure). The only suggestion I have is to have a toaster in the apartment for the guests. I will definitely be coming back!! best wishes, Matt Bargell
We had the quintessential °easter in paris° experience, in large part thanks to this fabulous apartment. rue lepic has a great atmosphere and is conveniently located for getting to other parts of the city. the apartment itself was clean, cozy, romantic and well stocked with everything from guidebooks to chopstocks. bruno was extremely kind, helpful and accomodating. we highly recommend this apartment for stays in paris. Aria and Daniele This charming apartment in Montmartre is one of the best finds in all of Paris. It is clean, efficient, with everything one needs and you will not find better owners than Bruno and Beatrice who are always ready to help and answer any questions you might have. It is located in one of the most exciting and historic sections of Paris. Near Sacre Coeur, wonderful food shops and two metro stations, it gives visitors a taste of what is best in Paris. Every time I come back to Paris, I make sure that I can stay at this apartment, if it is available. It helps you make your time in Paris worthwhile.
I travel to Paris every year and I always try my best to stay at this wonderful flat on rue Lepic. The flat itself is charming, clean and located in the heart of Montmartre which gives one a true sense of Paris life. The owners, Bruno and Beatrice are extremely helpful and always ready to answer any questions you might have or help you solve any problems that arise. The flat is near some of the best food shops in Paris, an historic cinema, the best view of the city from Sacre Coeur. You will find the price very reasonable. This lovely flat is one of the best finds in Paris and Bruno and Beatrice help make it so. I can't wait until my next visit and stay at this flat.

Located in the heart of Montmartre, it's near wonderful food shops, two metro stations and historic sites. The owners, Bruno and Beatrice are always very helpful and ready to answer any questions. I've stayed here a number of times and would not stay anywheere else. A wonderful place to stay if you want to see the real Paris!

NYC, NY I highly recommend this apartment! We stayed here for 2 weeks in May and plan to return soon! The apartment is clean, has all the essentials (washing machine, drying rack, kitchen), and is in a PERFECT location. We felt like locals- there were hardly any tourists in the area. The cafe's are fun and a great place to meet people. The supermarket is down the street- remember to put the price sticker on your fruit before you go to checkout! Bruno and his family were very accomodating and friendly- he provided us with directions and helpful tips about the city. Renting is a great way to get more for your money- we even had money to spare at the end of the trip!
Cheers,
Tiffany and Rick from San Francisco I had a wonderful time in Studio Lepic! Montmartre is the most beautiful, most interesting part of the city and it is just a short metro ride away from all the famous landmarks. Bruno and Beatrice were extremely friendly and helpful! I found everything I needed in the way of groceries, wine, cheese, etc. right around my neighborhood and the shopping is great, too! As a woman travelling alone, I always felt extremely safe and there are many things to do. Paris is a beautiful city and I recommend everyone stay in Studio Lepic. It is quiet and beautiful. Thank you Bruno and Beatrice!
Michelle I had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Montmartre is absolutely beautiful and Bruno and Beatrice were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was the perfect base for a Paris holiday- a bit removed from the loud crowds, but a short metro ride away from all the attractions. You can buy everything you need (groceries, wine, etc.) nearby and the cafe downstairs is great! I am a woman travelling solo and always felt safe. I recommend Studio Lepic to anyone who wants a comfortable, hassle-free stay in Paris. Thank you, Bruno and Beatrice! My friends and I spent a wonderful weekend in Paris staying in this apartment. Bruno was very nice and helped get us settled. Montrmatre is a great neighborhood, especially at night. I highly recommend staying here, especially since it ended up costing us about as much as a hostel. My partner and I stayed at Rue Lepic for three nights in July 2007. This was our first time renting privately over the internet, and we had an amazing experience. The apartment itself is just what you would expect a Paris pied-a-terre to be. It is in a very safe, quiet area, that has amazing street life and access to transit right at your door. It is fully equipped with everything you might need from interesting Paris guide books to a washing machine (we love to pack light!), to an interesting assortment of spices and condiments for cooking. Not that we did any cooking, as the street itself has lots of great well-priced cafes and restaurants (one of which was recommended in our guide book!), bakeries, wine and cheese shops. it is situated very close to the metro, so we spent a full day in the heart of Paris, and came home to Rue Lepic to eat, as the cafes served food until midnight, or after. It only takes 45 minutes on the train from CDG airport to your door (about 8 Euro). We arrived on the late flight from London, and Bruno and his wife met us at the apartment to give us the keys and the code. They are very relaxed hosts and extremely accommodating--they emailed us easy and clear directions how to get the train from the airport and had a bottle of French wine waiting for us! Although i can get by with my high school French and charades, both Bruno and his wife communicate well in English. I highly recommend this place as it is excellent value for money. We loved the location and we will stay again and tell all our friends about it.
Patrick and James I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Paris and staying in the charming, clean, well appointed apartment of Bruno and Beatrice. Bruno was helpful and kind. The location is fabulous, lively but still " neighborhood-y". Great shops and restaurants, away from the touristy, not-as-good and more-expensive places near the center of Paris. I highly recommend this apartment and hope I can visit here again soon.
Rose from Milwaukee, WI
We've spent in Paris 2 weeks and apartment in Rue Lepic made it comfortable.
1. Bruno and Beatrice are very friendly and attentive hosts. As we arrived to Paris at night they provided us with foodstuff for the breakfast. Bruno kindly described the environment. And when we left the Paris he helped us with our trunk.
2. The apatment is very cosy, comfortable and well equiped. The sight from the window rise pleasant feelings. In this apartment you feel the soul of that authentic building and spirit of Paris all in all. Windows turned to the quiet side but way out to the booming Rue Lepic. It is very good combination.
3. On Rue Lepic you will find a lot of shops, stores and cafes. You shan't think where and when to buy food. Metro and bus stops are not far from the location.
In few minutes walk you could reach Sacre Coure. The sight to Paris from it's area is wonderful especially at night. Moulin Rouge is within 150 m.
We recommend this apartment very much because we like it very much.
Thank you Bruno and Beatrice.
We recently rented the Rue Lepic studio on our first trip to Paris - we recommend it highly to everyone - the apartment is cozy and comfortable, well-equipped, in a charming neighborhood and very convenient to all transportation. In addition, Beatrice and Bruno were superb hosts - very solicitous of all our needs. We can't wait to return!
R. Beck and J. Roop,

Dear Bruno, We enjoyed our stay at 38 Rue Lepic and will recommend it to our friends who want a place to stay in Paris. The close proximity to the METRO, cafes and sites of Monmartre made it an ideal place to stay. Once again thanks for making our visit a memorable one. Richard & Kris Harding

I just wanted to take a moment and thank Bruno and Beatrice for all of their time and patience in answering my many questions regarding their apartment on Rue Lepic. They were most kind and particularly patient with me. Although we did not end up choosing their apartment for our vacation, they were most gracious in taking the time to respond to my questions and concerns. Thank you, again!
from Brigitte Haberl
Bruno and Beatrice are generous hosts. We were met by Bruno - given many ideas for places to eat, ways to travel and tips on Paris life (thanks for the coffee information). The "welcome" bottle of wine was a lovely gift and the studio was in a fantastic location and had all we could wish for to make our time in Paris fanatastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - hope I do!

We spent a week in apartment at Rue Lepic and it was a great choice for us. The owners are very nice and helpful people. Montmartre is in general a fantastic place to stay in Paris especially if you have a possibility to live in such a cosy apartment. We highly reccomend this place!!! from Jacek and Ewa

I can't think of a better way to visit Paris than to stay in this lovely studio in Montmartre. I spent a weekend there in June and found the apartment to be clean, sunny, well equipped and situated in a perfect location. Just downstairs the street is filled with shops one after another- the cheese shop, the wine shop, the bakery, the chocolate shop, the fruit stand and of course the cafes. Honestly, I loved the neighborhood so much I found it difficult to drag myself from it to visit the rest of the city. I brought some wine back to the studio and realized I didn't have a corkscrew- of course several were to be found in the apartment along with everything else I needed. My companion and I had a travel emergency and Bruno and Beatrice were very helpful in helping us get it sorted out so that we could enjoy the rest of our visit. I hope to be back and will encourage any friends and family who visit Paris to stay at this home away from home.
from Amanda Sears
My friend and I stayed for 4 days at this cute studio apartment and we loved it! It was our first visit to Paris and there couldn't have been a better place for us to enjoy the city. The location is convenient to the metro, the neighborhood is filled with cafes bakeries and wine/cheese shops, and the apartment is comfortable and cozy. Beatrice is a great hostess and we would definitely come back and stay there again! Thanks!!!
from Weiling We recently spent 10 fabulous days on rue Lepic. The apartment was clean and charming, and Beatrice was accomodating of all our needs. We had three people staying there for a couple of nights - one on top, two on the main floor - and it was fine. We particularly enjoyed the strong hot shower. We recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an affordable, "jolie", functional apartment in the heart of Montmartre.
from Catherine Julian
Many thanks to Bruno and Beatrice for their charming and accomodating apartment. It was the perfect choice for my friend and I staying in Paris for several days. A lovely neighborhood, a place that felt like home and best of all...the incredible stores that line rue Lepic! Superb!

We returned this weekend from our trip, and have all of our friends anxious to visit this beautiful area! The studio was perfect for our visit, a fantastic location to everything, and ath real "feel" of Paris I had been hoping for. Bruno was very helpful, gave great directions, and helped arrange for our luggage to join us the next day (a brief layover for us was a bit longer for the luggage).
from Rachel I will be recommending this apartment to everyone I know who wants comfortable, clean, convienient and affordable accomodation. I left something valable in the apartment and Bruno and Beatrice went out of their way to return the item to me - friendly, helpful as well as scrupulously honest. The nearby area has everything you could want ands well as a great atmosphere. Enjoy, we did.
