nathalie 13 Rue de Bassano was perfect for us! My husband and I had breakfast in the apartment and then off we went to visit the wonderful sites of Paris. We felt centrally located, 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 2 blocks from the Champs Elysees (and the LIDO cabaret)the Arc de Triumph and 30 minute walk to the Louvre. In the evenings if we were too tired to go out, we watched a movie or caught up on the World cup Soccer on an LCD TV/DVD projected on the wall. Boutique Hotels surround the area if you would like to go for a quiet drink, and there is a wonderful bakery right beside the apartment entrance. Catherine Astier gave us a 1 hour orientation to the area and was available by telephone if needed. Thanks for making us feel right at home Catherine.
Donna Costello & William Jefferies Vancouver, BC CANADA We stayed at Rue Bassano for one week at the end of March, 2006. It was our first time in Paris. I have to say that the location was fabulous! We were a short walk to the Champs Elysees which is a great place to enjoy walking at night (or during the day), as well as a whole variety of restaurants. We found it very easy to commute to other parts of the city using the Metro/RER, which was closely located on the Champs Elysees. The Eiffel Tower is a 15-20 min. walk. The apartment was great. We had a little baby with us (we brought our own portable playpen/crib) and it was comfortable. We did not spend much time in the apartment, as there was much to see and do, but it was nice coming back to a convenient location. The kitchenette was perfect for us, the bed was comfortable and the apartment was pretty quiet. The bathroom was spacious. There was a hand-held shower in the tub(a little awkward, but not a big deal). One minor inconvenience may be the lack of a telephone (to make dinner reservations, or use a calling card). But, there are payphones close by. We weren't sure about renting an apartment on the internet, but everything went well and in the end it was well worth it. You can't compare staying in a furnished, modern, apartment with a kitchen to a small, cramped hotel room - especially with kids or a baby. All in all, our stay was fabulous and you probably will not find anyone more gracious and kind then your host, Catherine. Thank you for everything. My first time to Europe and Paris will be a lasting impression.
Doro Nancy Surian we had a wonderful easterweek in Paris and cannot wait to return next year. Appartment was great -calm,warm,comfortable and modern - everything you need after a long, exhausting day in the streets of Paris Catherine thank you kind regards Gabriele, Anna, Theres

jude smith Just a short note to thank Catherine, the host, for her hospitality and the info about the apartment. It is a lovely and warm apartment. Very close to almost everything in Paris. Close to Metro and Eifel Tower. Nice and clean as others said. Looking forward to see you Catherine in June. Best wishes.
abbas sahba This apartment made my week-long trip to Paris a quality experience from beginning to end. I rode the Air France bus from the airport to the metro stop at the Arc de Triumph, and walked with luggage to the apartment - it's that near. The decorating is new, clean, modern. For once I felt as though my travel digs compared to my home environment. Never having rented off the internet I was not sure what to expect. Here, the apartment proved to be as represented on the website, and the business part of the transaction went without a hitch. A friend who lives in Paris visited the apartment and showed enthusiasm for it. She indicated that it is not usual to find such a custom designed flat to let by the week. Catherine, thank you!
Beverlee Roper I would definitely recommend this appartment to anyone. It is a very luxurious, modern and quiet appartment for a very nice price. It is close to the Champs Elysées and Metrostation George V from which you can easily reach all attractions in Paris. You can park your car in the street for free on Saturday and Sunday and for the other days there are a lot of parking homes in the area for approx. 25 euros a day/night. I would also like to say special thanks to the host Catherine for your kindness and help.
Jacqueline Schmitz Catherine, Just a quick line to thank you for the wonderful stay in Paris. We had the best holiday and can not wait to return. Thank you for all the info and kind words. Hope this email finds you well and happy. Kind Regards Vicki
