Another lovely apartment ( we had previously stayed at the apartment in Gobelins) Bright and comfortable with internet access, skype and Freesat TV.
The location is fabulous - on the doorstep of one of Paris' best food markets and surrounded by good restaurants.
Thanks again - we will be back!
Julia and David
July 2008 - we have been enjoying our stay at this nice property, very centrally located just off of the very nice and well-equipped main shopping street of Rue Mouffetarde! Sleeps 4 quite comfortably (kids in separate room so parents can enjoy a glass or two before retiring!). Street noise so far is minimal and there are shutters for extra darkening/silencing. Although there is no air-conditioning, a fan was supplied (2 in fact, 1 broken) so that the temperature at night was quite bearable. Bathroom is clean though not spotless, with adequate shower facilities. There was (1 roll of) toilet paper when we arrived, but examination of the guest book shows that this is not always the case.
The apartment is furnished for 3 - three towels - so if you need a 4th set be sure to tell the owner in advance! There are NO foodstuffs of any kind supplied, so be sure to arrive in time to purchase basics such as coffee/tea, sugar, oil, salt/pepper if you really intend to cook. Note: some of the shops up the Rue Mouffetarde are open on Sunday evenings. The hot plate has 2 burners and there is a microwave as well as a kettle and coffee-maker with a built-in filter (no papers required). The pots and pans are enough for family meals (4 persons). The knives are very dull, so if this irritates you bring your own, or a sharpening stone.

Review Title - "review for Passage de Postes apt"
"I rented the apt on Passage de Postes, which is a pedestrian street off Rue Mouffetard, with my husband and 2 young teen daughters.
Thierry was/is wonderful to deal with. He was helpful and prompt with all of my dealings with him. He made the entire transaction easy and stress free. The internet connection was a savior because I needed some things and he helped me find them in the area. Also, my daughters loved blogging their stay for friends.
We all enjoyed the apt quite a bit. It suited our needs perfectly. The location is wonderful for lots of action. The area was safe at night. Location has lots to offer and was by far the best for us out of the many we experienced during our 8 days in Paris. Everything you need is very close by. I highly recommend the area. And if Thierry is always this wonderful to deal with I recommend renting from him. I would again. Although this did not pose a problem for us, anyone renting should know the dble bed is up a ladder in a loft area - although plenty of head room. This would only bother someone if they had physical limitations. The apt was adequate for us. We would rent again. "
Bonjour Thierry!
The apartment is just as we imagined. The location is
wonderful. Our check in was easy and
uneventful...which was refreshing after a long flight.
It is a wonderful asset to have the computer access.

We had a lovely stay at your apartment in late May. The location cannot be beat! We found ourselves after a day out, looking forward to coming back to "our" neighborhood. The market and atmosphere of Rue Mouffetard were textbook perfect and being so close to the Metro made sightseeing a joy. We would plan our agenda for the day using the high speed internet connection and be on our way! Thank you for making everything so easy and perfect for our first visit to your amazing city!
Sincerely,
Robin, Michelle & Rue Hi,
My daughter loved Paris and said the apartment and neighborhood were
perfect. My wife and I may stay at one of your places next time we visit
Paris, which after speaking with my daughter, may be sooner than I was
planning, as it is probably our favorite city in the world. Boston, where we
are from, is nice, but it is no Paris.
Thanks again for everything.
Sincerely,
David M. and Mdm Bonnet- We thoroughly enjoyed your apartment on Passages des Postes at the beginning of August. It was just perfect for our family of four, and an easy walk to just about all of the parts of Paris we wanted to visit. We loved being just steps from the Rue Mouffetard! The high-speed Internet access was great for sending photos, staying in touch with friends, and checking info on Paris sites and weather. The only thing I might suggest is adding the ability for renters who bring laptops to be able to connect them to the high-speed Internet connection (or even better, a wireless connection!).
from Hopp Bonjour, Many thanks for the well-equiped apartment, my family enjoyed their stay. Yours sincerely O Diaz
from Diaz We really enjoyed our stay in the Passage des Postes apartment in February. Pros: Outstanding location - close to 2 metro stations and Rue Mouffetard is amazing, particularly on Sunday morning. Very clean apartment, and very clever use of a small amount of space Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for 4 weary travelers to use for their showers! Since I have a minor disability, and Paris is a cite d'escalier, I was grateful to come home to the first floor apartment. Cons: The internet was not working. The apartment is now short two espresso cups that my husband dropped - Thierry, we hunted high and low while we were shopping for replacements, but couldn't find anything suitable. The only thing I would suggest for the host, who I never met, was to add a kettle for boiling water and a full size broom. Thanks for sharing your wonderful apartment with us.
